(WIVB) – Over the weekend, a firefighter in Paradise, California saved an American flag from the rubble of a home destroyed in the Camp Fire in Northern California.
He wrapped the flag around a mailbox nearby.
Firefighters have been searching through the rubble looking for victims. Officials say at least 29 people died in the wildfire and more than 6,000 structures were destroyed.
