Remember to check smoke detectors with daylight saving time!

With Daylight Savings Time coming to an end, we would like to encourage all Georgians to be in the habit of checking the batteries in the Smoke Detectors when they set their clocks back.

Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 6, at 2:00 a.m.  Please make sure you set your clocks back an hour.

We would also suggest replacing all batteries in safety equipment used for household emergencies such as flashlights, weather radios, etc.
