(FOX 5) – JESSUP, Md. – Ahead of Thursday’s storms, three firefighters went above the call of duty in assisting an injured man in Anne Arundel County.
Firefighters Trey Small, Kevin Burkholder and Lt. Joe Cvach came to help treat the victim after he had fallen while repairing the roof of his shed. He had to be transported to the hospital for his injuries.
But with the project unfinished and rain on the way, the firefighters stuck around at the home and put up the rest of shingles on the shed to complete the job for the victim.
The homeowner was very thankful for the act of kindness and he expressed his gratitude to the firefighters in a thank you note, which was posted on the Anne Arundel County Professional Fire Fighters’ Facebook page.
