(ctpost.com) – Firefighters rescued a dog from a well Sunday morning, according to a post on the South Killingly Fire Department Facebook page.
According to the post, the 16-week-old pooch fell about eight feet down an open well while walking in the woods off of Wright Road. Firefighter Levi Davis was reportedly lowered into the well, and was able to grab the puppy, and the pair were hoisted out.
