(WRIC) – An off-duty Henrico firefighter is being praised for saving a woman who was experiencing a medical emergency on Route 301 in Hanover County.
Firefighter Sarah Hill was off-duty in Hanover when she noticed a woman outside her vehicle on U.S. 301 in need of help, according to Henrico County Government’s Facebook page.
After approaching the woman, Hill learned the female motorist may have been suffering a heart attack.
Paramedics were able to transport the woman to a nearby hospital, where emergency room personnel saved her life.
