(Loganville Patch) – Gwinnett firefighters rescued a person hanging from second-story window Tuesday night during a fire. All patients have been transported to the hospital due to smoke inhalation; their injuries appear to be non-life threatening. After two searches, firefighters were able to rescue two kittens.
At 8:46 p.m., firefighters responded to a resident report of a fire at the 3700 block of Pine Village Place SE in unincorporated Loganville. The caller to 911 reported that a fire was coming from the front door of her house and that an occupant was stuck upstairs.
Crews arrived on scene to find light smoke showing from the back of the house. Per the incident commander, there were three adult victims at the residence. Two victims outside the house said a third victim was trapped on the second floor.
