(WISN) – Members of the Greenfield Fire Department over the weekend sprang into action for a unique rescue.
Students from Whitnall High School were enjoying their homecoming dance on Saturday night when suddenly the entire venue lost power. Firefighters moved in to save the day – and the dance – by hooking up two of their generators.
The faculty and students at Whitnall are contemplating how they might be able to show their appreciation.
“We’re not quite sure what that’s going to be yet, but we’ll definitely do that as a school community because … we really are a partnership with our fire department and our police officers,” said Whitenall High School Dean Krystle Stingle.
