WOODSTOCK, Ga. (Fox5)- A celebration is taking place today in Woodstock. A State Farm Insurance agent returns to work after suffering from cardiac arrest in July.
On July 13, Woodstock police officers and firefighters responded to a person down at the State Farm office. Upon arrival, Lt. Bob Kline, Sgt. Randy Milligan, and Officer Matthew Carroll located businessowner, Andy Jabaley, as he was performing CPR on his co-worker Reed Shwedo, who had suffered from cardiac arrest.
“Everything just fell in place perfectly on this day. We would be remiss if we did not commend the business owner, Andy Jabaley, for being trained in CPR. Seeing Mr. Shwedo back at work months after we were dispatched to the call is rewarding” said Lt. Bob Kline, Day Watch Commander.
In 2014, the Woodstock Public Safety Foundation purchased AED’s for each patrol officer to carry while on duty.
