(KARE 11) – CROSS LAKE, Minn. — A couple who escaped a boat fire that was put out in an incredible way is telling their story.
Saturday’s fire on Cross Lake was caught on video. Some Good Samaritans used a flyboard to put it the burning boat.
Flyboards are skateboard-like contraptions that use water pumped through a jet ski to elevate into the air.
Paul Gavic, who owns Sky High Flyboard, says he and his sons were at their cabin when they noticed a boat on fire on Cross Lake. His boys went to help and it took one of them about two minutes to put out the fire using the water propelled from his flyboard.
KARE 11 caught up with the couple who were inside the burning boat.
