(KOCO) – The call was unusual. Nevertheless, it was one these Oklahoma City Firefighters were ready to handle. A 9-year old boy stuck on an escalator after one of his croc shoes got wedged inside of a step.
The escalator company said kids wearing crocs are their number one hazard on escalators.
Ok. City Firefighter Collin Goodwin remarked that despite the stress surrounding the incident, the boy was quite calm.
After an hour, the firefighters managed to free the boy’s foot. Amazingly, the boy walked away from the scene unharmed.
