(CBS46<\/a>) \u2014 A school resource officer experienced an unforgettable moment only two weeks into her new job.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t even happen at work but rather when Officer Zakia Williams was driving home from her shift Tuesday. She is a school resource officer with Gwinnett County Public Schools.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see a car swerving in and out so I\u2019m like, that\u2019s not normal let me pull up closer and see what\u2019s going,\u201d she said. \u201cAs I pull up closer there\u2019s a lady and a male in the car and they both look like they\u2019re in distress and I see a baby in the front seat and the lady\u2019s screaming.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI rolled my window down and the lady looks at me and me and she said, \u2018my baby\u2019s not breathing,\u2019 so I immediately said, \u2018pull over,'\u201d Officer Williams explained.<\/p>\n

Her body camera captured the life-saving moments when the three-week-old girl\u2019s step-grandfather handed the baby over to Williams, who performed CPR using two fingers. Moments later the infant starts breathing and crying.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen she started crying I just immediately felt relieved,\u201d Officer Williams said. \u201cAbsolutely grateful that it ended up the way that it did.\u201d<\/p>\n
