(FOX NEWS<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0A group of firefighters turned into Santa\u2019s Little Helpers\u00a0when they rescued a family\u2019s\u00a0Christmas presents, complete with wrapping paper, and their tree\u00a0after a fire broke out at their\u00a0Florida home <\/a>\u00a0on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Several first responders with the\u00a0Polk County Fire Rescue\u00a0responded to a two-story house fire in\u00a0Mulberry <\/a>, a city just 40 miles east of\u00a0Tampa, around 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

As they responded to the scene, they were told a 13-year-old was able to safely escape the residence, and no other humans or animals were left inside,\u201d the fire rescue\u00a0wrote in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n

Firefighters quickly worked to put the fire out, and once it was under control, the crew of Engine 2 came up with a heartwarming idea: to\u00a0save the family\u2019s Christmas presents <\/a>, because \u201cthey stood the chance of being damaged.\u201d<\/p>\n
