They found a stairwell to the basement, where they discovered the man unconscious and in cardiac arrest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was in respiratory and cardiac arrest when they got to him, so he was having a heart attack. Literally, he was in the process of having a heart attack,\u201d said Gwinnett County Fire Spokesperson Donald Strother.<\/p>\n<p>The firefighters pulled him from the burning house and performed CPR.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe all worked as a team.
