(Fox 13<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0A couple of off-duty Pasco County deputies enjoying a day on the water still managed to save lives when the spotted some boaters in trouble.<\/p>\n

Body camera\u00a0video<\/span><\/span>\u00a0shows the second part of the heroic rescue, but before on-duty deputies showed up, two off-duty deputies, who were deep sea fishing in the gulf, west of Port Richey, spotted some boaters in trouble, just in time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw something that didn\u2019t look right,\u201d said Deputy William Gay. \u201cI was like, \u2018Yeah, they are waving. There\u2019s people in the water.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

There were three people in the distance. Deputies Sean\u00a0Powers<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and William Gay saw the men, whose boat had already sunk, so they pulled anchor and took off.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was no waiting. Just go. Just go,\u201d Gay said.<\/p>\n

\u00a0They were able to pull the men, who weren\u2019t wearing\u00a0life jackets<\/span><\/span>, from the water. One of them had a head injury.<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

\u201cThey were very worn out. The first guy we got on, they could barely get up the\u00a0staircase<\/span><\/span>. We had to help him up,\u201d Gay said.<\/p>\n

A Pasco County Sheriff\u2019s\u00a0Office<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Marine Unit showed up and took the men<\/p>\n
