(WRIC<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0An off-duty Henrico\u00a0firefighter is being praised for saving a woman who was experiencing a medical emergency on Route 301 in Hanover County.<\/p>\n

Firefighter Sarah Hill was off-duty in Hanover when she noticed a woman outside her vehicle on U.S.\u00a0301 in need of help, according to\u00a0Henrico\u00a0County Government\u2019s Facebook\u00a0page.<\/p>\n

After approaching the woman, Hill learned the female motorist may have\u00a0been suffering a heart attack.<\/p>\n

Paramedics were able to transport the woman to a nearby hospital, where emergency room personnel saved her life.<\/p>\n
