We looked at each other and knew that we had to go and jumped off in the water,\u201d Sutliff said of the boat with dog Buddy also onboard.<\/p>\n<p>Phagan was able to swim to the bank, though Buddy continued to push Sutliff underwater.<\/p>\n<p>utliff eventually was able to get clear and backstroke until her shoulders hit the grass.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was brokenhearted, because I had to leave him.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Sutliff said.<\/p>\n<p>Equipped with their rapid deployment watercraft, first responders from Hall County Fire Services, Sgt.
