(WTSP<\/a>) \u2013 What fire and rescue teams often see have a tragic ending was not the case for one young patient and members of the Pinellas Suncoast Fire and Rescue.<\/p>\n

Pinellas Suncoast Fire and Rescue shared a photo of their firefighter-paramedic, Doug Higley, waiting in the emergency room with a young patient\u2019s parents after they were pulled from a local pool.<\/p>\n

The patient was pulled from the pool by an off-duty Sunstar Paramedics employee, said the post. The employee did a successful resuscitation from respiratory arrest on the patient.<\/p>\n

It was \u201can amazing outcome for what is all too often a tragic one,\u201d said the post.<\/p>\n

The patient was awake and doing well, according to the Facebook post.<\/p>\n
