(mypanhandle.com<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0\u201cWe were looking for place to eat, and couldn\u2019t make our minds up,\u201d said Walton County Fire Rescue\u2019s Corey Galloway.<\/p>\n

As he and his partner, Chad Massey, drove north on U.S. 331, McLain\u2019s Family Steak Diner was in sight. They quickly decided to just pull in.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we were there for a bigger and better reason,\u201d said Galloway.<\/p>\n

Nearly 15 minutes later, the pair hears a patron choking while they\u2019re eating lunch.<\/p>\n

\u201cImmediately jumped up, both of us, no hesitation,\u201d said Galloway.<\/p>\n

Galloway performs the Heimlich maneuver and is able to clear the man\u2019s airway. His partner, Massey, comforted the frantic family.<\/p>\n

\u201cSat there with him to make sure his color and everything was normal and everything had cleared,\u201d said Galloway.<\/p>\n

It was a scary moment that followed an already emotional day.<\/p>\n
