{"id":15632,"date":"2018-03-22T11:31:46","date_gmt":"2018-03-22T16:31:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/georgiaarsoncontrol.org\/?p=15632"},"modified":"2018-03-22T11:31:46","modified_gmt":"2018-03-22T16:31:46","slug":"savannah-firefighters-rescue-dog-stuck-in-the-mud","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/georgiaarsoncontrol.org\/?p=15632","title":{"rendered":"Savannah firefighters rescue dog stuck in the mud"},"content":{"rendered":"<body><p>(<a href=\"http:\/\/wsav.com\/2018\/03\/19\/savannah-firefighters-rescue-dog-stuck-in-the-mud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WSAV<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0\u00a0Firefighters helped rescue a dog who wandered into the swampy woods in Georgetown.<\/p>\n<p>According to Savannah Fire, Sir Bentley, a small, fluffy, white Bichon Frise, slipped through a gap in Mary Thomas\u2019 storm-damaged fence on Bradley Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>Sir Bentley was given to her family a few months ago, following the death of a family pet.<\/p>\n<p>When Mary and her husband Adrian realized their pup was missing, they scoured the area.<\/p>\n<p>Mary arrived frantically at her neighborhood fire station and firefighters offered to help with the search.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey went all back into the woods and kept looking and looking until we were able to bring him home,\u201d Thomas said. \u201cHe went all up in there and couldn\u2019t get his little self out.
