{"id":15498,"date":"2017-12-28T15:20:14","date_gmt":"2017-12-28T20:20:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/georgiaarsoncontrol.org\/?p=15498"},"modified":"2017-12-28T15:20:14","modified_gmt":"2017-12-28T20:20:14","slug":"kind-cop-shovels-snow-for-businesses-after-christmas-day-storm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/georgiaarsoncontrol.org\/?p=15498","title":{"rendered":"Kind Cop Shovels Snow For Businesses After Christmas Day Storm"},"content":{"rendered":"<body><p>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.insideedition.com\/kind-cop-shovels-snow-businesses-after-christmas-day-storm-39334\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">InsideEdition<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0A Maine police officer went above the call of duty when he\u00a0lent a local business his snow shoveling\u00a0services\u00a0during a snowstorm.<\/p>\n<p>Officer Ben Murtiff of the Augusta Police Department was photographed shoveling the sidewalk in front of a boutique Tuesday morning after a winter storm hit the area on Christmas Day.<\/p>\n<div id=\"incontent_mobile_top\" class=\"incontent_mobile_top gpt_ads\">\u00a0Store owner Betsy Curtis, 31, said they got around 10 inches of snow.<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI came into work on Tuesday,\u201d she told InsideEdition.com.\u00a0\u201cI literally take two shovels and all of a sudden a police officer shows up [\u2026] and he\u2019s like, \u2018Hey, give me the shovel.
