(WISN<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0Members of the Greenfield Fire Department over the weekend sprang into action for a unique rescue.<\/p>\n

Students from Whitnall High School were enjoying their homecoming dance on Saturday night when suddenly the entire venue lost power. Firefighters moved in to save the day \u2013 and the dance \u2013 by hooking up two of their generators.<\/p>\n

The faculty and students at Whitnall are contemplating how they might be able to show their appreciation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not quite sure what that\u2019s going to be yet, but we\u2019ll definitely do that as a school community because \u2026 we really are a partnership with our fire department and our police officers,\u201d said Whitenall High School Dean Krystle Stingle.<\/p>\n
