{"id":15255,"date":"2017-07-19T14:49:46","date_gmt":"2017-07-19T14:49:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/georgiaarsoncontrol.org\/?p=15255"},"modified":"2017-07-19T14:49:46","modified_gmt":"2017-07-19T14:49:46","slug":"firefighter-saves-brother-in-oldtown-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/georgiaarsoncontrol.org\/?p=15255","title":{"rendered":"Firefighter saves brother in Oldtown fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<body><p>(KHQ) \u2013\u00a0Investigators are still piecing together what may have caused a vacant house fire in Oldtown, Idaho.<\/p>\n<p>But we\u2019re learning more about one firefighter saving another in the line of duty.<\/p>\n<p>Not much is left of that home, but Terry Emord, a firefighter for West Pend Oreille Fire District, says when crews were pulling up they were treating it as one they\u2019ve been to before.<\/p>\n<p>While they were working to put out the fire, Emord says he was going back to check one of the pumps that wasn\u2019t working.<\/p>\n<p>As he was leaving, he tripped and ended up breaking his leg.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, his brother, Tony, was right there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe pulled us down, kept the fire off of us, kept us nice and cool and safe until help got there.
