(The Leaf-Chronicle<\/a>) \u2013 A Clarksville Police officer gave an 8-year-old a field promotion to junior officer\u00a0to help take the sting out of his missed recital performance. It may have sparked the boy\u2019s interest in a future in law enforcement.<\/p>\n

On May 11, a woman was involved in a minor fender-bender on the way to a school Fine Arts Night recital, and the delay caused\u00a0her son,\u00a0Quintin Fisher, to miss his performance,\u00a0according to a news release Monday from Clarksville Police<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had practiced singing the songs\u00a0for over two months\u00a0in preparation for the big evening,\u201d Knoll said.<\/p>\n
