(CBS46<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0<\/span>Three children are recovering after being rescued from a burning two-story home in Atlanta on Park Avenue.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, the firefighter had to jump onto the balcony to get the children. The parents were not at home at the time.<\/p>\n

The children, who were on the second floor of the home, were treated for minor smoke inhalation.<\/p>\n

Fire officials said the fire started in the kitchen and was quickly knocked down.<\/p>\n
