(Indiana Times<\/a>) \u2013\u00a0A puppy rescued from a burning building is now breathing, all thanks to the efforts of a firefighter who gave it a mouth-to-snout resuscitation for 20 minutes.<\/p>\n

The team of firefighters rushed to rescue the owner named\u00a0Crystal Lamirande and her dog, Nalu from their burning apartment in Santa Monica.<\/p>\n

After the team pulled out, Nalu, from the blaze, he was motionless, but one firefighter named\u00a0Andrew Klein was determined to save the dying pup.<\/p>\n

Klein immediately got on his fours and tried to resuscitate Nalu, \u201cI picked him up and ran out of the apartment because time is key, especially with a small dog\u2026 Failure was not an option.\u201d he told AP.<\/p>\n

Owner Crystal Lamirande, 35, watched on as firemen tried their best to revive her pet.<\/p>\n

After a 20-minute-long CPR, Nalu, sprang back to life.\u00a0\u201cHe\u2019s been coughing but right now he\u2019s fine and he\u2019s so happy and smiling,\u201d said Lamirande with a sigh of relief.<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
