(NBC Yew York) \u2013\u00a0Dramatic video shows a life-saving rescue on Long Island. Police and firefighters worked to get a man out of a car that crashed and caught fire off the LIE near Holtsville. Suffolk County Police dispatcher Christopher Sabella says he spotted the car and tried to help the driver before crews arrived. \u201cWe used about five or six extinguishers to keep the fire at bay before the fire department finally showed up,\u201d Sabella said. The driver was taken to Stony Brook Hospital and is expected to be okay.<\/p>\n
