A man commented on that post and said that an Officer Poole had saved him from drowning when he was 5 years old.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Officer Poole was surprised as Chris Jones, now 24 years old, walked up to him during an interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you remember me?\u201d Jones asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo I don\u2019t sir,\u201d Officer Pool responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom 1997? I\u2019m the boy you pulled out of a swimming pool,\u201d Jones explained.<\/p>\n<p>Officer Poole immediately got up and gave Jones a hug, saying \u201cwow\u201d and \u201cthat\u2019s awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jones then held back tears as he thanked the officer, and told him he now has a 5-year-old himself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause of you, I\u2019m still here.
