(NBC 12<\/a>)- PHOENIX \u2013 Officials from the Phoenix Fire Department say the rescue efforts to get three people down from a stuck roller coaster at Castles-n-Coasters Sunday were out of the ordinary.<\/p>\n

Capt. Reda Bigler\u00a0told 12 News the fire crew that responded was not a tactical rescue team, but they assessed the situation and determined using their 35-foot latter was the best approach.<\/p>\n

Getting stuck on a roller coaster about 65 feet in the air could cause some anxiety for people, said Bigler, explaining how the situation could have been much more.<\/p>\n

The family remained calm as fire crews coached them through the rescue.<\/p>\n
