(WSBTV<\/a>) \u2013 HIRAM, Ga. \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>A Georgia police department is being\u00a0praised for helping a mother who couldn\u2019t afford proper car seats for her children.<\/p>\n

Officer Johnson with the Hiram Police Department\u00a0pulled over an SUV and spotted a seat belt violation. Two young children were riding in the backseat of the car, but didn\u2019t have booster seats.<\/p>\n

The mother told the officer she couldn\u2019t afford the seats, so he provided them for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe provided proper education with the seats in hopes they\u2019ll be used correctly every time they travel,\u201d the department wrote on\u00a0Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n
