(FOX 5<\/a>) CANTON, Ga.<\/strong> \u2013 Two Canton police officers\u2019 actions are being called heroic after rushing to the aid of a man who suffered a heart attack at a local gym.<\/p>\n

Officers Jimmy Butler and Patrick Duncan were dispatched to the Crossfit Canton Gym where Justin Marion, 41, had collapsed during his workout. The officers found co-owner Karen Camps performing CPR on Marion. Duncan used the Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED) in his patrol car as Butler took over performing CPR.<\/p>\n

Canton firefighters arrived and rushed Marion to Northside Cherokee Hospital in critical condition. Police said he is recovering from the incident.<\/p>\n

Chief Mark J. Mitchell credited Camps and the officers for saving Marion\u2019s life stating they were, \u201cextremely calm, collected and worked as a team during this serious life or death situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
