Video from a camera mounted on the helmet of a firefighter shows the rescue of a dog from a burning home.<\/p>\n

According to the Sacramento Bee<\/a>, firefighters found the dog hiding in a bedroom toward the rear of the home, which caught fire early Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

They were able to pull the dog from its hiding spot and carry it to safety.<\/p>\n

The family living in the home escaped unharmed, the Bee reports. According to NBC News, a working smoke detector alerted the family.<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
