Lincoln County Deputy Jeremy Gautney quickly rescued the child from the danger of passing motorists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShortly after removing the child from the highway, Deputy Gautney was alerted to the child\u2019s frantic parents who were searching for him,\u201d said Lincoln County Sheriff\u2019s Office spokesman Lt.
