(FOX 5<\/a>) \u2013 Atlanta, Ga.<\/strong> \u2013 An Atlanta firefighter\u00a0rescued a woman from a condo fire in Buckhead on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Neighbor Michael Bald and a\u00a0motorist also came to the rescue after a fire erupted in the kitchen of one of the condos.<\/p>\n

The owner of the condo got out safely, but his employee was trapped on the second floor.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was up in the middle window with smoke coming out, but the ladder couldn\u2019t reach her,\u201d said Bald.<\/p>\n

Three neighbors and a man named Marquis Brown, who was just driving by, worked to save her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw her waving her hands out, there was smoke coming out the middle window. So, I figured I would want someone to help me in this case so I pulled over in his driveway,\u201d said Brown.<\/p>\n

Two rescuers were already inside battling the blaze and trying to reach the woman too.\u00a0Then, the fire department showed up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI threw the ladder up and I went up and grabbed her down and assisted her back down to the ground,\u201d said Sgt. Niji Keshinro with Atlanta Fire Department.<\/p>\n

Firefighters contained the fire and two\u00a0neighbors were taken to Grady Hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
