NORMAN, Okla. \u2014 An Oklahoma police officer picked up an unusual passenger Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
Officer Kyle Canaan was called to a busy street in Norman after getting reports of a miniature donkey in the area.<\/p>\n
With a little pushing and pulling and some animal feed, the officer rounded up the donkey, nicknamed Squishy, and put it into the back of his patrol car.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a perfect fit,\u201d Canaan told KFOR<\/a>. \u201cI was able to shut both doors. I rolled the window down for it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Squishy was only in police custody for about four miles.<\/p>\n
Canaan was happy to help but not so pleased with the evidence he left behind.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt used the bathroom in the back of my police car \u2013 number two,\u201d Canaan said. \u201cI mean, I must have got it right after breakfast, because there was a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police were looking for Squishy\u2019s owner and asking for proof of ownership.<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
